My name is Avryl Josling and I am the centre manager of Merryland early childhood center. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have a range of experience within the sector, the most recent being head teacher at Auckland Kindergarten Association. I am fully qualified and registered. I am a strong advocate for children and families and work passionately to provide high quality care and education for all the children I work with.

Kia ora, my name is Natasha. I have been an early childhood educator for the past 7 years. I am fully trained and registered. For me, learning is a never-ending journey and I feel delighted to support this journey of the children under my care by encouraging their ideas and understanding their views of the world around them. Working alongside families is my strength and I constantly work towards building my relationships with our families. I believe that each child has been placed in my life for a purpose and as a teacher, I strive to discover it. Outside the centre, I dedicate most of my time to my little boy who teaches me so much through his resilience and courage. I feel blessed to have a husband who shares the same zeal and is an early childhood educator.

My name is Noopur Arvit Lakhera. I have 6 years’ experience as an Early childhood teacher in New Zealand. I have master’s degree in English Literature, Diploma in Education and Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Currently I am Provisionally Registered, working towards my full registration. I believe that children learn and develop in an early childhood environment where the teacher has a respectful image of children as being competent and capable young people. I am highly inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and value the significance of a positive environment we create as educators
